Nineta Vretou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece and lives in Athens. She has graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Thessaloniki, and continued with post-graduated studies in physics, in Paris. She also holds a BA of honours in Fine Arts & Technology from Middlesex University.

She works as a telecom engineer and at the same time she is an active artist, working in painting, multimedia, photography, video and interactive installations.

She is especially interested in the exploitation of new technologies in art and the combined use of traditional and new media. In her multimedia projects she employs digital media and electronics for the creation of interactive installations and environments. She is also an experienced web site designer.

Η Νινέτα Βρετού γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και ζει στην Αθήνα.

Αποφοίτησε από το τμήμα   Ηλεκτρολόγων  Μηχανικών  και Μηχανικών Η/Υ του ΑΠΘ, και συνέχισε με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην  φυσική στο Παρίσι. Επίσης είναι απόφοιτος εικαστικών τεχνών του  ΑΚΤΟ, και κάτοχος BA of Fine Arts & Technology από το "University of Middlesex"

Εργάζεται ως μηχανικός τηλεπικοινωνιών και παράλληλα εξελίσσει το καλλιτεχνικό της έργο. Στα αντικείμενα που την ενδιαφέρουν περιλαμβάνονται η ζωγραφική, τα πολυμέσα, η φωτογραφία, και το βίντεο.

Επίσης την απασχολεί η  αξιοποίηση   της σύγχρονης τεχνολογίας στην δημιουργία διαδραστικών έργων  καθώς και η συνδυαστική χρήση παραδοσιακών και νέων μέσων και τεχνικών.  Σημαντική παράμετρος στην δουλειά της  είναι  η σπουδή πάνω στην   πλαστικότητα που προκύπτει  όταν το φως διέρχεται από διάφορα υλικά ή συνδυασμούς υλικών και οπτικών μέσων.

Είναι μέλος του συλλόγου Εικαστικών Μεσογαίας.

H Φανή Βλαντωνοπούλου γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα. Παρακολούθησε μαθήματα ζωγραφικής σε εργαστήριο τέχνης στο Δήμο Κορυδαλλού, με διευθύντρια τη Γεωργία Δαμοπούλου και με καθηγητές τους Ελένη Πολυχρονάτου και Βασίλη Κατσιβελάκη. Σπούδασε ζωγραφική στην Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών της Αθήνας, με καθηγητές τους Ζαχαρία Αρβανίτη και Άγγελο Αντωνόπουλο. Παράλληλα παρακολούθησε μαθήματα Βυζαντινής Ζωγραφικής με καθηγητή τον Παύλο Σάμιο, Στοιχεία Γλυπτικής με καθηγητή τον Νίκο Τρανό και Βίντεο-Πολυμέσα με   καθηγητή τον Μάνθο Σαντοριναίο.

Έχει επίσης πτυχίο Μαθηματικών από το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών.

Έχει κάνει δύο ατομικές εκθέσεις και έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλές ομαδικές εκθέσεις ζωγραφικής.

Έργα της βρίσκονται σε ιδιωτικές συλλογές.

Ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα

Fani Vlantonopoulou was born in Athens.

She attended painting lessons at an Art Lab in the Municipality of Korydallos, with Georgia Damopoulou director and with teachers Eleni Polychronatou and VassiliKatsivelakis.

She studied Painting of the Athens School of Fine Arts, with professors Zacharias Arvanitis and Aggelos Antonopoulos. At the same time she attended classes of Byzantine Painting with professor Pavlos Samios, Sculpture Elements with professor Nikos Tranos and Video-Multimedia with professor Manthos Santorinaios.

She also has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Patras.

She has done two solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions of painting.

Her artwork can be found in private collections.

She lives and works in Athens.
