Ανοιχτή πρόσκληση προς εικαστικούς

Ο μήνας Μάρτιος χαρακτηρίζεται από δύο πολύ σημαντικά γεγονότα.

Η 8η Μαρτίου εορτάζεται ως η Παγκόσμια Ημέρα της Γυναίκας ως ημέρα μνήμης των αγώνων του κινήματος για τα δικαιώματα των γυναικών. Ενώ η πρώτη τήρηση της Ημέρας της Γυναίκας πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου 1909 στη Νέα Υόρκη, η 8η Μαρτίου προτάθηκε από τη Διεθνή Διάσκεψη Γυναικών του 1910 ώστε να καθιερωθεί μια «Διεθνής Ημέρα της Γυναίκας». Αφού οι γυναίκες κέρδισαν το δικαίωμα ψήφου στη Σοβιετική Ρωσία το 1917, η 8η Μαρτίου καθιερώθηκε ως εθνική αργία εκεί. Την εποχή εκείνη εορταζόταν κατά κύριο λόγο από το σοσιαλιστικό κίνημα και τις κομμουνιστικές χώρες μέχρι την υιοθέτησή της το 1975 από τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη.

Η 25η Μαρτίου είναι Εθνική Εορτή της Ελλάδας, κατά την οποία τιμάται ο Εορτασμός της Ελληνικής Επανάστασης του 1821. Φέτος συμπληρώνονται 200 χρόνια.

Συνδυάζοντας τα δύο παραπάνω εξαιρετικής σημασίας γεγονότα, η πολιτιστική ιστοσελίδα www.art-profiles.net οργανώνει και παρουσιάζει την 3η κατά σειρά διαδικτυακή εικαστική έκθεση με θέμα «Woman Evolution 200» στα πλαίσια του project 12 ΜΗΝΕΣ στο οποίο κάθε μήνα παρουσιάζεται διαδικτυακή εικαστική έκθεση με τη συμμετοχή σύγχρονων εικαστικών και με διαφορετική θεματολογία.

Στην έκθεση «Woman Evolution 200» οι εικαστικοί που θέλουν να συμμετέχουν παρουσιάζουν έργα που κεντρικό τους θέμα είναι η Γυναίκα και η Εξέλιξή της τα τελευταία 200 χρόνια, από την Ελληνική Επανάσταση έως σήμερα. Πως διαμορφώθηκε ή άλλαξε ο ρόλος της; Υπάρχουν ακόμη στερεότυπα που προσπαθεί η Γυναίκα να υπερσκελίσει, να αμφισβητήσει ή να ανατρέψει; Εξακολουθεί να δέχεται «χτυπήματα» που οφείλονται στον τρόπο που ένας άντρας την αντιμετωπίζει; Έχει ίσα δικαιώματα; Ποιες γυναικείες προσωπικότητες αποτέλεσαν πρότυπα σε διαφορετικά πεδία δράσης στην Ιστορία των τελευταίων 200 ετών, ξεκινώντας από τις γυναίκες που ξεχώρισαν για τη δράση και το σθένος τους στην Ελληνική Επανάσταση του 1821;

Όλες οι παραπάνω πτυχές της θεματολογίας της διαδικτυακής έκθεσης ΜΑΡΤΙΟΥ - Woman Evolution 200 αλλά και πτυχές της έμπνευσης των έργων των σύγχρονων εικαστικών θα συντελέσουν στην τελική παρουσίαση του επίσημου video clip της έκθεσης στο τέλος Μαρτίου.

Από 1 έως 25 Μαρτίου οι εικαστικοί που ενδιαφέρονται μπορούν να στείλουν ένα έργο τους, συναφές προς το θέμα, στο παρακάτω mail: dimitriolazarou@gmail.com

Θα πρέπει αναφέρουν στο mail τους ο τίτλος του έργου (αν υπάρχει), διαστάσεις και τεχνική. Στην ανάρτηση του έργου στο site θα αναφέρεται το mail τους, εφόσον το επιτρέπουν.

Η δική τους ματιά και έμπνευση προσδιορίζουν και επαναπροσδιορίζουν τη Γυναίκα και την εξέλιξη της τα τελευταία 200 χρόνια!!!

Η συμμετοχή των εικαστικών στην έκθεση είναι ΔΩΡΕΑΝ!!!

The month of March is characterized by two very important events.

March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day as a day of remembrance of the women's rights movement. While the first observance of Women's Day took place on February 28, 1909 in New York, March 8 was proposed by the International Conference of Women of 1910 to establish an "International Women's Day." After women won the right to vote in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8 was established as a national holiday there. At that time it was celebrated mainly by the socialist movement and the communist countries until its adoption in 1975 by the United Nations.

March 25 is the National Holiday of Greece, which celebrates the Celebration of the Greek Revolution of 1821. This year marks 200 years.

Combining the above two events of exceptional importance, the cultural website www.art-profiles.net organizes and presents the 3rd online art exhibition - "Woman Evolution 200" within the project 12 MONTHS in which every month an online art exhibition is presented with the participation of contemporary visual artists under different themes.

In the exhibition "Woman Evolution 200" the artists who want to participate present art works whose central theme is Woman and her Evolution in the last 200 years, from the Greek Revolution of 1821 until today. How was her role formed or changed? Are there still stereotypes that the Woman tries to exaggerate, challenge or overturn? Does it have equal rights with man? Which female personalities became role models in different fields of action in the history of the last 200 years, starting with the women who stood out for their action and strength in the Greek Revolution of 1821? All the above aspects of the themes of the online MARCH art exhibition - Woman Evolution 200 but also aspects of the inspiration of the works of contemporary artists will contribute to the final presentation of the official video clip of the exhibition at the end of March.

From March 1st to 25th, interested artists can send one related art work to the following mail: dimitriolazarou@gmail.com

They should mention in their mail the title of the art work, dimensions and technique. Their mail will be mentioned in the posting of the project on the site, if they allow it.

Their own look and inspiration identify and redefine the Woman and her evolution over the last 200 years !!!

The participation of the visual artists in the exhibition is FREE !!!
